It takes about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable, i.e. does not show fluctuations after an occasional excess. What to Eat and Avoid On the hCG Diet Plan

While most of us eat 500 calories in just one sitting at home or our favorite restaurant, the hCG diet is very specific in just how to spread those calories out through your day. Most important, however, is how those 500 calories are made up.

During the diet, you are allowed to drink unlimited quantities of tea and coffee for breakfast. Although it is not required to limit coffee intake, it is still suggested to drink no more than three cups per day due to its caffeinated nature.

For your dinner and lunch, you must consume protein, vegetables, fruit, and drinks from our approved diet list only. More complex foods that are mixtures of fat, flour, sugar, and salt can send impulses to the opiate centers of the brain which is the addiction center of the brain. Eating foods not approved for the hCG diet can impact the results of the diet. Diets that do not address the concept of food addictions are destined to fail so it’s crucial to follow the diet guide that will be provided to you by The HCG Institute.3 

Drinking enough liquids while on your HCG protocol is also a definite factor in not eating too much on the protocol. Sometimes when you think you are hungry on the protocol, you are actually thirsty-use this as your first line of defense before you eat too many calories on the protocol.4

– mustard
– apple cider vinegar
– Any natural herb or spice, salt (in moderation), pepper, and garlic

Many vegetables and especially fruits are very high in sugar content. Some meats are also high in fats so you should follow the approved foods listed in the full diet guide that will be provided to you. 5
