Warnings and Precautions
hCG works on hormonal signaling pathways related to reproductive function. Because of this, any personal or family history of hormone-sensitive conditions should be discussed with your provider before starting.
hCG has been associated with fluid retention in some patients. Those with a history of asthma, epilepsy, migraine, or cardiac or kidney dysfunction should be monitored closely, since fluid retention may worsen these conditions.
Response to hCG varies significantly between individuals, and regular monitoring, including bloodwork, is typically part of an HRT program using this medication. Follow your provider's monitoring schedule.
Tell your provider about every medication, supplement, and health condition you have before starting.
